AMMONIUM NITRATE
Usage
For the manufacture of ANFO (in accordance with applicable legislation in each country), suitable for column charging in the blasting of soft to hard rock. Loaded in bulk into large-diameter holes or pneumatically into smaller sub-horizontal holes.
Terms and Conditions
ANFO manufactured with ammonium nitrate can be loaded manually or pneumatically into dry holes. In holes containing water, Amonix must be loaded using a plastic sleeve or cartridge. Amonix is not sensitive to detonators, so it must be initiated with Gemulit or similar.

PACKAGING
It is supplied in 25kg double polyethylene bags, in 1000kg, 1100kg, or 1200kg polypropylene FIBC big bags protected with an inner polyethylene lining.
STORAGE
Store in dedicated, specific facilities, isolated from any organic material, under controlled humidity and temperature conditions, in the original sealed packaging and with limited stacking. Avoid exposure to heat and direct sunlight.
